Class of 1971 Reunion 2011

Yes, it has been 39 years since we stood in that gymnasium hallway for hours waiting for Bishop B. J. Topel to arrive and hand us our diplomas! We have managed to gather together every ten years since then, and next summer will mark our 40th anniversary.

I am anxious for our next gathering. This blog is here so that we may all contribute ideas and plans toward that end. Feel free to contribute with your thoughts and ideas and reactions.

  1. Hello Kelly,
J.L. Sent on to me word of a possible reunion because you used an old email address. I can best be reached at kacodd@gmail.com.
I'll be moving to the St Thomas More Center in Pullman in August; if the dates worked out and the place were otherwise unoccupied in the summer, I would think it might be a good facility for a reunion...just a possibility to consider.
    I hope you are well"

Hi all. Can't be that we are approaching the 40th?!? - wow! I'm in whether Yakima or elsewhere depending on the health of my parents (89 and 87). Hope all are well and I look forward to the opportunity for yet another reunion.

    Kelly and all

I would be willing to arrange something in Yakima, but I know not very many folks would be interested in that - not the most central location considering where everyone is nowadays. Only a few of us would be interested in seeing St. Pete's in Cowiche again.

Wherever we have the reunion, I will be there and I would be willing to chip in regarding any costs. And, Kelly, you already know that our address and phone information on the Mater Cleri website is current. I tried the blog spot, but I am so ignorant about such things - I'm not sure it got through.

Can't say that I could make it. A bit too much going on right now. But I'm sure Armando will be in 7th Heaven to hear that. He never did like me after I pushed him out in front of a red-faced Msgr. Rosage. You'd think that after all these years he'd be able to let bygones be bygones. But noooOOOOOOoooo. Not our little buddy from south of the border. He always did have an axe to grind with me. It didn't help that I could always speak Espawnola better than he. Me and George W. All I can say is, "REMEMBER THE ALAMO!!!" Enjoy!
